Copyra is software for backup, synchronization, and FTP data transfer automation that is suitable for multiple users and network use. - Both simple and complex copying tasks may be realized by combining filter and exclusion rules as well as multiple copying tasks in batch processing processes (building block principle). Date formulas, drive and FTP bookmarks, and folder lists with multiple copying targets may be inserted in specified paths. Orphaned files and folders (that only exist at the target) will be determined and presented for deletion. Using the scheduler, copying procedures may also start outside of working hours and subsequently shut down the computer. - The FTP module is new in Copyra 5.0. With this feature, automatic updates of websites are as simple as a normal backup to a local server: All modified and newly created files are transmitted and orphaned files on the web server are listed at the push of a button. In addition, a fully fledged FTP client has been integrated for manual file management. - Despite the many possibilities, Copyra is easy to operate and includes a clear, self-explanatory user interface. As Copyra is able to simulate each copying procedure for testing purposes, even newcomers are able to take their first steps without danger.
